New Whidbey
Almost two years ago I lived in Illinois. I came over spring break to visit my Aunt and and uncle. They live off of saratoga road. I haven't seen them in a long timeand I have never met my cousins before either. It was going to be a fun trip but that didn't mean that we would move there. We started to like Whidbey Island. We started to look at houses instead of chill on our vacation. We looked at a lot of houses then we then we found a house with five acresand signed the papers. After our vacation was over we went home and found out that someone else bought the same house for even more, so we gave up on Whidbey. Then a week or so later the other family dropped the house and we signed the papers again and put our house on the market and sold our house then packed everything into a large Uhaul and one smaller Uhaul. My sister and my friends and I had a lot of fun playing in the trucks but then we got serious and loaded them up. though I wasn't quite ready to go yet because my best friend was at camp when I had to leave and he didn't get to drive with us. His sister and his mom got to come with because my mom had a broken ankle and so his mom had to drive the van with us. We drove for four and a half days and the large truck broke down twice on the same day, the last day. So we sat in the middle of nowhere for a couple times. It was quite the adventure, but we finally made it.

Hey Quinitin.
I liked this entry a lot.
I thought it was really descriptive. And showed how you felt when you had to leave, and you didn't even get to see your best friend. I thought this was really good writing because you could tell how you were feeling.
I liked your entry because the sentances flow really well. It was very descriptive. I also liked how you explained how you felt about leaving. I liked this entry alot! Good job! Keep writing!

This is really good. I like this entry because I can relate to your situation. I didn't originally live here either. I was born in California, but we moved here when I was about 2 years old. That stinks that you didn't get to say bye to you best friend before you left, I would be sooooo sad :'( . Hehehe that's kinda funny that the truck broke down that many times. Good job and keep writing!!!!!!!!
I didnt know you were from Illonois. I guess that proves how much I know. It sounds like you had some trouble buying your house. I had the same problem when I moved to Idaho. It sounds like everything worked out though. I like this post because I can realate to it. Thats a bummer you didnt get to see your friend before you left.
I liked how you decriped how long it took to get the house. And what you had to go throught to get the house. I also liked you entry because i was in the same situation. I used to live in Oregon when I was younger. And had to say goodbye to my friends too. Also I had to say goodbye to my best friend. But he is still my best friend so thats good.
